joined the mafia and have been back and forth on all types of 3 series, but really love the look of this model. I have a truck, so i may drive this 8-10k miles per year. want something really fun and reliable Denver,CO area

1st choice is MT, but if mileage is dramatically lower would go for AT.

Hey! Just FYI, there's a 2003 330i 6MT TiAg ZHP in Charlotte, NC with 53k miles and an exemplary service history. The gentleman wants $18k, but with the cars impressive maintenance history and tasteful mods, it seems a reasonable price to me!

My male half talked with this seller over the weekend...I'll ask him to contact the seller and see if it's okay to post the info on this forum...

If we hadn't just signed on a supercharged 04 ZHP today, I'd buy this car in a heartbeat! :)

OP, if Michele is saying this about the car, you should look into it.

@Trello..looks pretty sweet, but not sure I want to travel to Chi town to check out and decide..same at MsRN..love the forum and the help. I may sit tight and see if something pops up within 300 miles.

@MsRn, please do. I would love to see the post. If the car looks that good, do you have recommendations on how to proceed. I don't have the time to travel and drive back. I'm guessing you wouldn't recommend buying sight unseen either ..

Found this on Craigs list...again newbie here, is the M package he refers to different than zhp..this is more mileage than I was looking for, but thought this would be good to find out more.

Difficult to know from that picture. It has the M-tech II bumper but I can't see inside the interior to confirm.

He mentions snow package (which is the cold weather package). He mentions sports package (which is the sport package). He says the manifold is an M3 manifold. Not sure what he's talking about there. He calls this the M3 package and the M package. Clearly, he doesn't know precisely what he's talking about. As a result, you'd have to contact him for more information.

Also, if it is a ZHP-optioned car, the price is too high for 107,000 miles -- especially in the Rocky Mountains.

If you're interested, have him send you some more pictures. Also, work on knocking the price down.

Be sure to check out the ZHP FAQ, so you can see some of the telltale signs of the ZHP: http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/showthread.php?1789-Frequently-Asked-Questions-%28FAQ%29-About-the-BMW-E46-330-ZHP-Performance-Package-Option

can't argue the car looks sweet. I really do need the 4dr..flexible on the MT vs AT, but 4dr is a need

Yeah....he has no idea. I bet it is ZHP though.....because it has M Tech II...as stated, and he isn't enough of an enthusiast to have done that. Not saying owner before him couldn't have though.

I'm thinking of parting with mine

4dr / Imola over full alcantara / 6spd man / 117k miles

Brand new Conti DWS Tires / New Pads and rotors / All major maintenance done

Everything is stock.

I've got mine up for sale - it's an AT but really low miles and extremely clean. It will be in Tucson, AZ over the holidays otherwise it lives regularly in CA. I also just bumped the price down $500 (not sure how to reflect this in the actual thread title?)
