so if you have a ZHP then your car came with either the black or silver cube effect trim option that only came on our cars... or did it?
I found a mention earlier today on M Registry that the M3 GTR Street version got the cube effect trim in 2002 on the 5-10 that were actually built so I have been on a mission to find proof. Here it is...

Look at the door handle on the drivers side, you can clearly see silver cube. I do also like the center w/o the armrest CSL style, but this one looks different.
Here's the P60B40 (tuned down to 375hp for the street version)

Looks too dark to be silver cube. Maybe black cube?
In which case, silver cube might be the only ZHP-exclusive cube trim. :biggrin

Keith,
Yeah, it looks like black cube trim to me as well.
Go Horns!

I think it is silver cube, look at the passenger door.
The only way to settle this is for someone to find a GTR for me to drive around in for a week.:rofl

Passenger door is lighter-looking from the lighting, I believe.
The driver's door and dash trim definitely looks too dark to be silver cube, imo.

I still think the GTR's trim is black cube. Looking at the pic and comparing my Silver Cube trim...the trim in the pic is too dark...
Just my two cents... :biggrin

It looks like a greyish cube trim to me, if you look at the passenger side door trim in the shot, it looks much too light to be black trim, however on the near door it looks too dark to be silver, so I am guessing that the GTR got one of a kind grey cube trim??
-Unique interior trim (high-gloss black, Titan Shadow, Aluminum or Eucalyptus Malt wood)

I think I'm gonna agree with Kris, it looks kinda like cube on the titan shadow trim. Its definitely not black cube. Either way, cube first appeared on the GTR

Should we call it the GTR shift knob from now on?
Could we maybe get some more pics of the car...? Hahaha

It's been a while since I bumped this... after later threads I honestly think this is the darker shade of silver cube. I'm getting there...

Edit: nevermind, I still believe GTR Sraße had titanium shadow cube effect

Is that something we can buy from BMW?
In any case, I'm pretty sure the silver and black cube trims originated with the 330 clubsport

No, there is no part number that I have found for that shade. When did the clubsport come out? I assumed it was only on facelift cars so this would still have been produced before then

The Clubsport package existed on pre-facelifted cars as well.
