VIN: - check later
Year: 2004
Make: BMW
Model: 330i ZHP
Price: $20,000
Mileage: 59,9xx
Transmission type: manual
Body Type (coupe or sedan): sedan
Color: Imola Red
Packages: Cold Weather, Xenons, (obviously) Performance
Title status (salvage? lien holders?): clean title - no accidents

What I’ve done to my ZHP:

OEM ///M tri-stitched leather steering wheel

OEM ///M aluminum pedals

OEM carbon fiber splitters (similar to the M3 CSL, not the cheesy “M-Tech” fake ones sold on eBay)

OEM spare gas can (fits inside the spare tire, under the trunk floor)

OEM first aid kit box (fitted under the driver’s seat, not the passenger seat -no contents- just the OEM box)

OEM ///M oil cap (painted Imola Red to match car)

OEM Home-Link added

OEM factory alarm added

OEM kidney grill (painted Imola Red to match car)

OEM floor mats (new – drivers side mat was slightly worn under the accelerator, so I replaced them all)

OEM BMW Performance cold air intake and OEM cleanable air filter for the intake (basically the same as the Dinan CAI)

LeatherZ ///M tri-stitched black leather shift boot

LeatherZ ///M tri-stitched black leather e-brake boot

AC Schnitzer front strut brace

Depo clear marker lights, front side and rear

Stainless steel brake lines and clutch line

ATE Blue brake fluid

Good stuff:

new OEM battery

new alternator (I think I should have replaced the battery first instead of the alt)

no VANOS rattle (never had it)

no flat spot in power band between 3500 and 4000 RPMs (never had it)

Removed the CDV (clutch delay valve)

Bad stuff:

extremely small chip in windshield well below line of sight on drivers side

all 4 wheels have some curb rash on them (I bought it like that and haven’t gotten around to fixing it)

I purchased it as a stock CPO from Crown BMW in 2007 with 38K. It was previously owned by a 83 year old man that traded it for an M5 (or at least that’s what I was told by the dealer). The bank still holds the note(i.e. It’s not paid off yet) I paid well over “retail” because it was close to where I lived, the right color, the right options and in the right condition… I looked at a lot of cars before I bought this one, and like I said, I paid a premium for it… I used to work for Ultrasuede (maker of Alcantara). All of the Alcantara (steering wheel and shift boots have been replaced with leather – came with “upgraded” leather seats). Alcantara may look cool, but trust me you don’t want it. It wears way to easily. I’ve always used BP 93 octane, Red Line fluids in the transmission and differential (changed at 40k), Mobile 1 0-W40 European Formula oil in the engine (every 5K) , and OEM parts when possible (not the alternator, I couldn’t swallow the $ at the time…but like I said, I think it may have just been a mis-diagnosis and really a old battery, which was replaced with an OEM battery). Waxed with Wolfgangs and Dodo Juice.

Never (intentionally) driven in the rain.29212920

If my asking price is met, I'll include my 60k preventative maint package (NOT completed - it's in a box) including:

Stewart water pump
OEM thermostat
OEM coolant
OEM hoses
OEM fuel filter
OEM spark plugs
OEM belts

I want to thank everyone for their inquires. I've sent out a lot of pics and information on this car. I'm glad there is so much interest in this ZHP. I know selling a car on your own is a pain in the rear and certain things come with the territory. If I could, I'd like to try to head off some of those now.

I've turned down $15k, $16K and $16.5K from three different people. I'm not going to accept offers that low, now or in two weeks, or a month. I know I'm asking a premium for this car. It's not for everyone. You can buy a ZHP cheaper than this. My point is, you are not going to find one nicer that this. My price reflects this. Unfortunately, I'm the only one that can describe the car and I'm the only one you should be weary of. It's a catch 22.

Please don't see this as rude - and this posting is not directed at anyone. I've sent out a ton of info, only to hear...."I've got to sell mine first" "Would you take 12,000?". This is the ONLY place I have posted it for sale because I knew there would be serious players here (and BTW thanks, because I know it would have been easy to have a bunch of people say "20 thousand?" or "That's to much!" and it all could have died, before it started)

I still have a "verbal commitment" with NO cash deposit, so it is still for sale. The gentleman is suppose to drive up on Jan 15th.

I'll be happy to send you anything you specifically request, but please know where I stand with the vehicle. If you want a near perfect ZHP in a desirable color combo that has OEM upgrades and has been immaculately cared for and never seen bad weather. This is your new car. If you want a ZHP and hoping to find someone that has lost their job and needs cash now, this one is not for you.

thanks - sorry to be so forward -

Jon

Hope you sell to a member here Jon,

Just support for Jon.
When I joined this forum, Jon contacted me on his car, I was ready to fly there to purchase this car. It is truly a premium price but his records and care for this car speak for itself.
Reason I didn't purchase, Jon at the time changed his mind to sell.

The prosective buyer came by and drove it (extensively) and loved it...then offered 16.5. He has already read my post so you know how that went.

Still avail.

You are asking $20,000 correct?

FullyBalanced
01-15-2012, 04:24 PM
Yes, asking $20,000. I turned that amount down in Sept 2011.... yes I know - stupid. But I did.

The gentleman that came by today, I've had dialog with pretty much everyday for 2 weeks and we had agreed on a price (above 16.5, below 20) and he already knew I had turned down 16.5 from another person. Talked to him tonight and he changed his offer to 16.5. I told him no, and did not counter offer.

So, it's still avail. - this car has to be seen to be appreciated -
