That description is a bit 'off'...

260 HP? I think not.

12 speakers? I believe the HK system has 10.

I'd also double check it's a real ZHP due to the 'factory M-performance package' wording.

If its Imola it's a ZHP, the other specs are prob wrong since they prob found them all on the Internet somewhere

I had my wheels refinished in that color in November 2010. It was a shade I 'Picked out' from various cans the wheel refinisher had. Turned out perfect.

Don't forget the 6-speed sequential semi-manual gearbox. Surprised nobody caught that.

Does Immola Red automatically make it a ZHP?

I've seen other 3-series e46 cars (non-330, even) which were in Immola Red.

I had a chuckle out of that one, too. 'semi-manual' ;)

Nope. Only other thing it could be is an M3. :)

Also a negative. Electric Red, Japan Red; these were the other real standard red colors for Non-M and non-ZHP vehicles in the U.S. Imola is exclusively an M color. Maybe offered under BMW Individual, but I don't know about this.

EDIT: Turns out Electric Red and Japan Red are the same thing. Nevermind...

Would be nice for some verification on this.

The only other E46s I've ever seen in Imola were M3s. AFAIK Imola = ZHP

EDIT: BP was faster

Good to know, thanks. Must have been other shades of red that I did not differentiate from.

Front woofer, mid and tweeter makes six. Rear door mid and rear deck woofers are another four. H/K 6x9 subs are another two, making twelve total.

Also, called to inquire as to whether this ZHP had a sunroof, and was told the cold weather package is "very rare on 330s especially"... :blink

Seems a bit high priced. I bought mine 2 years ago in chicago but 2 door with 70k miles, new clutch, brakes, coolant for the same price, same specs only black leather. Don't know why so much hate on the coupes with cold weather pkg..

Hey UdubBadger, Imola over the Natural Brown is a very, very tough combo to find! I found my car several years ago, and after looking for about 5 months all over the place, I fell in love with this color combo when I saw it, first on a coupe in CO, then on my car which I found in IN. Difference in my car is that I have silver cubes, but it looks nice in black too! Cost seems a bit optimistic given the mileage, IMHO. I paid a bit more for my '04, but it had less than 21K on it. Nonetheless, if you have to have the Natural Brown, think hard as they are really difficult to find.

In case you need an excuse for sliver cubes down the line (maybe the dog prefers it?) :)

Everyone is correct that the Cold Weather Package is virtually impossible to find...and in Imola w/ Natural Brown forget it. My car does not have the Cold Weather package, but I did purchase a Thule roof rack if I need it. In reading up on people in the same boat, it sounds like you can drill out the tack welds on the sheetmetal behind the rear arm rest in non-CW cars, thus providing you with a ski-pass thru but without the containing bag. This may not be enough for you, so in that case CW package may be the only way to go.

If you're going to punch out the panel, can't you buy and install the pats for the bag?

Perhaps, though how does the bag attach? I am trying to remember this from 2 1/2 years ago when I was ZHP hunting, and I seem to remember that there was some issue with fitting the bag. When my Alzheimer's let up, I will let you know what I remember. :fingerscrossed

Yeah...it doesn't look like the bag parts are easily going to be procured.

Bag and parts may have to be pulled from a junker.

Done. Ski-Pass through is totally feasible.

Not to go totally off topic here, but speaking of Top Gun, I think we need a Top Gun sorta smiley face to pick from..like an F-15 or something.
