For those that may not know, Apex is having their annual group buy. Here is a chance to save on shipping and maybe a few $$ on the wheels themselves. These are pretty lightweight wheels, I am ordering 5:)

From their thread, anyone (me) interested in 17s:

A 17x9.5" wheel will be available in Q2 2012.

Haven't found it on their website yet. There are threads on bf.c and e46f though.

From the past one I participated in, they don't add it to the website until it goes live (ie checkout stage). It's still currently in the "feeler" stage to see how much interest there is and roughly what discount tier will be hit to generate more interest.

FWIW from the research I did, the final # will be a couple over the feeler list with the people who don't find it until later, aren't forum members, word of mouth, etc. makes up for the couple that back out at last minute.

Problem for me............They won't do a 18.5 square set up on this group buy. That is the only way I will buy them:(. Real pisser is, that any other size, no problem.

The 18x9.5" ET35 is sexy if you can fit it guys, but just be aware that it may take some tweaking, in the back that is. By tweaking I mean potentially running a 235/40 tire instead of a 255/35, a mild fender rolling or even a little extra camber.

18x9.5" ET 35 Square on Brian N's car (http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=890692) from E46fanatics, he is running a very stiff suspension (probably less travel in every day driving) with 265/35s and rubs in the back (a little). You can see he's running lots of camber as well.

The only thing that could get me to ditch my RCs are these in staggered 18x9.5"R/18x9"F, or some Volk RE30s :)
