ahh it feels good. so i just bought my first bmw its a pretty good story, I've been in the market for a new car and wasn't sure what i wanted to buy, I've owned prob about 30 cars since the age of 15 and I'm 26 now, I've had turbo honda's mustangs suv's trucks sport bikes but never a bmw. so this year i didn't want to lease or finance anything so i had about 10k cash and was looking around for e46 coupes online and what not and wasn't really finding anything worth while so i traveled home to my mothers around christmas and was actually going to NYC the following monday to mostly likely purchase a 2001 e36 325i coupe and was chatting with my brother who works for west german bmw and he was telling be about a whole seller who buys bmws from his lot so we took a drive to his lot after hours and saw this red zhp sitting outside looking so pretty i never saw before it was stripped of the 330i badges so i had no clue what this car was or year, saw the ///M rims and bumper but was thinking, when did they make a 4 dr M3 lol so went to meet the seller the next day he told me about the car and was listing it for about 10k and being that he was good friends with my brother he gave it to me for 8500 (what he owned it for) and thats the story of my buying experience

What a steal! 8.5K!! So now you have ~$1500 for maintenance and mods. You're in an excellent position!

Welcome!

We need deets: Mileage, owners, year, service records?

Make sure to post more pictures too!

Edit: Never mind, saw your post in the "What did you pay..." thread. If the car has all the maintenance up to date, you got an amazing deal!

Oh also forgot to say before I picked my car up the mechanic gave it an oil change, new water pump, new pulleys, 2 new front tires. All for free.

Nice score!

What color is that? Could that be? could it really be IMOLA RED? LOL!

This once-rare color is not so rare in these parts! Congratz again on the purchase and welcome to the family.

It's got just a tad over 140,000 im thinking as long as I take care of it and not beat on it and change the oil I should be good for a while, I deff never bought a car with this many miles
