...for ebony and she's my friend's beautiful girl! :) Such a tame and friendly dog when raised right. Their appearance gets such bad rap. I was just sitting there and Eb comes along and puts her head and my lap and wants to cuddle. :wub She likes to grab her chew toy/ring and show it off to you and wants you to try to grab it from her always letting me get a slight grip before she yanks it away and goes for a "try again" look on her face. LOL.

Taking pictures of dogs in low light environment is tough. A majority of my shots were blurred at F1.7 and 30-60th of a second using ISO 640 then having to bow down to ISO 1600 near the end as it got darker outside. Haha. Focusing on the right spot was hard too, she was almost moving!!

looks like a great dog, and just like the point you made in the beginning, its less the dogs and more the training (if any) given to the dog at an early age (hard to train an older dog)

the mouth open shot scares me. Good stuff Trevor, good control of the camera.

I guess it's more about the love and care that you show for the dog which is most important. Just like humans...if you train them, they will learn how to do specific things on command but may rebel at times. If you show that you care for them as you teach them, they'll thrive on that heartfelt emotion and do those things out of love rather than necessity.

It sure is easier to train a young dog. But isn't that the same with human beings? ;)

Thanks Casey for your words, they mean a lot! That was the hardest shot because it was so dark. I asked Eb to be still but she didn't listen. LOL. But I could have put my hand in between her fangs and she would never bite my fingers off. She's a gentle creature that just appears super scary. :D
