Hello ZHPMafia-ers,

I have always wanted a ZHP! I come from a highly modified Cosmos black M3 which you may have seen in the classified section here on ZHPmafia, and before my Cosmos, I had an M3 sedan which was my first car.

A ZHP has always been a car I've wanted and I finally was able to obtain one. You might have seen the car on eBay (for a short while!). I picked up a 2003 silver-grey (that's the color, right:p) 330i with the full alcantara interior. The interior, and body seem to be in perfect condition, despite the mileage (130k). The car is going to leave Houston tomorrow to be shipped to me in Knoxville! We are buying it sight un-seen but my Dad has done that in the past with a few cars so it shouldn't be an issue as the current owner is a nice guy.

Some of the owner's photos:

Going to order clear corners today, with a lot in store in the near future!

Now, one question - why did BMW Performance Intakes double in price since I last saw them?

Congrats, great color combo. At 130k, save room in budget for non-bling items that'll keep the tow trucks away and bank account intact.

Excellent! Can't wait for you to get in it in your driveway!

Congrats, the car looks really clean.

I don't know exactly why BMW performance intakes went up in price. But I do know that the AFE intake does the same thing, and sounds amazing for $300 on Amazon. (Use the affiliate link so the mafia gets credit!)

I as well as many other forum members have the AFE intake.

Looks like a safe bet! Hold on to about 2 grand to do maintenance.

Thanks everyone. Will look into the AFE intake. I had one on my M3 coupe.

Welcome to your ZHP, great car! Regarding the Performance Intake, it's supply and demand. They originally retailed for $1K. Then there was a blowout sale and they basically sold out at around $300. Now that they are gone, most of the prices have gone back to the $600 range... sometimes you'll see an "incorrect" legacy price in the $300s, and they change it back to the higher #s.

Welcome and nice cars you've had. You had a M3 sedan, E36?

Thanks everyone. The mod bug has already bitten.

Hermes, yes - here it is. 97' M3-4-5. It was my first car, and was completely stock when purchased. I did a ton of things to it. When I sold the car, it looked like this:

I wasn't too fond of the sedan, so I sold it and bought a very highly modified E36 M3 coupe.

Here it is at Knox Details before being sent to the new owner. Both my M3's sold to young guys in VA.

I'm super lucky to have owned two performance cars in the 2 years I've had my license. It helps my dad's a car guy, too. I'll miss the performance of the M3, especially my coupe (that car was crazy!), but I'm sure there wont be too much of a let down with my new ZHP.

Welcome. Looks like you might need to replace that shift knob with the correct one.

Baha, well, glad I could help. First thought when I saw your first picture was, "man, he needs some black grilles!"....but I generally try to avoid the "yo all your car needs is xyz then perfect!!!" comments.

I'm super damn jealous of your alcantara interior. I miss mine dearly daily.

you have a very good taste for cars, welcome to the family...

my zhp didnt come with xenons as well, but if you have around $300 to burn, you can do this DIY (http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=840919) or this (http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/showthread.php?5679-HID-Retrofit-for-halogen-headlights.-Cheap-and-easy.) and you're all set...
