super easy. looks like it was tapped into the sunroof or map light or something up there. If you can find a live wire thats all u need. There are probably thousands of DIY's on it all over the web

I had an escort hardwire out of my 1 series that also has the small display with the mute button so I just swapped this one out for that.

Good price...really nice kit. Already has a fuse and ground...no need to go to your fuse box anymore!

I have one...used it in my E46 and now Z....so simple
