Bought at Tirerack.com (http://www.dpbolvw.net/click-4193730-10549527).

Reserved for future use....though I thought I would post a comparison to the tires I am coming from. I am hoping to really notice a difference in cornering, stopping, and wet weather confidence.

I will post up my review at around 5k miles....which should be in less than 2 months.

Looking forward to the review. I'm going to switch to all-seasons for the next set of tires.

Added video review of the tire to my initial post. I could not listen to it.....so I don't know if it confirms it's a good tire or not. It was compared in the video to some well respected tires though.

I will listen to video tonight when I get off work.

Currently have 28k miles on these. They are starting to cup, and I have observed some tram lining. Time to swap out.

They were a great tire.

I thought cupping was a result of worn suspension components, tire balance, and/or alignment issues. A tire can just cup all on its own?

I'm pretty sure cupping is a result of some kind of issue. I didn't think tires could cup all on their own.

Yes. They are cupped. I need to replace them as the condition will not correct itself after suspension refresh.

My alignment/suspension indy said that most BMW's cup their rear tires. I'm not too sure on whether it has to do with worn suspension because my sister's E90 had cupping on both rears equally at 32k miles, long before suspension refresh would be needed... my rears are cupping as well at 60k.

Right...

Regardless....every set of tires I've ever had, on a BMW, at some point have cupped. I think the actual sport suspension is what ends up facilitating the cuppage.

Hmm, interesting. I only noticed this on my lowered BMW (E30), but never my sport suspension E46s (2 mine, 3 in the family). We had a sport suspension E90, too, and it never happened.

Roger. I think some of my cup page issues are helped by Norfolk roads as well.
