Hah, you sound like me. Have you tried www.searchtempest.com ? It searches ALL locations of Craigslist at once. I've found it to be very helpful, especially if you're willing to travel for a car.

Anyway, good luck man. Finding the perfect car can be so hard!

I thought this was a CL post for an '05 TiAg coupe near me in Pleasanton that was 6MT. I grabbed it quickly from my history. The CL post I saw is no good anymore (sold?).

My apologies.

This one has been on the lot down the street from me since before March 15. I think it's priced to high. I should go look at it again.

I considered that car myself but the many owners, across the US history, and questionable mods scared me off

Thanks guy's I appreciate your help. I'm a bit surprised at how hard it is to find a coupe. The black one in CA is gorgeous, but they are asking 20k for it. I'm still on the hunt, but I may settle and buy an M3. It blows my mind that the zhp coupe and the M3 are so similar in value right now.

Truth be told, i'd prefer the zhp over the M, but with M's I have a lot more choices.

^^ black one in San Rafeal has been in a accident, but it does look nice. Check the vehicle history reports so you know what you are getting into. I bet you could talk them down a lot based on that, if the car is ok otherwise.

never thought i'd hear someone consider an M3 over a ZHP "settling"...goes to show you mafia bias hehe. but i totally know what you mean. i think if the ZHP coupe had a LSD it would pretty much be the perfect everyday car of all time...lol

Do all coupe doors look like that? Or is this a mod?

looks standard to me. coupes don't have the body panel molding that sedans do

If you are talking about the side skirts, they are significantly different between coupes and sedans.

I just posted a 2005 Silver ZHP 6MT in the classifies section. It's on eBay with NO reserve. It has Black interior, Nav, Sunroof. Looks real clean and I think he is the second owner.

The face lifted headlight design on the ZHP coupe can't be beat. After sifting through billions of classifieds I decided to take the plunge with an M3. I'm extremely happy with it, but I won't lie, i'll always hate the droopy turn signals! Thanks everyone for your help!

awesome looking M3!! i've always wondered why the M3 didn't get the facelift that other E46s did...anyone know? is it related to the engine?
