Hello everyone...My name is James Wagner (Strider), and I wanted to introduce myself, and my (new to me) car.

This is my second BMW...my first being a 2004 545i 6 speed. That was fun and I loved the V8 torque, but just too much maintenance that could not be done by me. Active Suspension, Steering..etc...just made for a higher bill than I was willing to pay year in year out.

A couple of my friends are big fans of the 3 series, and Elric had just recently purchased an e46 ZHP. I really liked the sedan, and so did my son. He started looking, and it got me started looking again as well. (He is picking up an 2004 IR in two days...so 2 new cars in the same month...not a bad spring)

Long, long story short, and a wild bid on ebay, ends with me not buying a ZHP, but as the owner of a 2003 325i. It has a few mods, and the kind people here at the Mafia have graciously allowed me to join your community. I love talking cars, and working on them as much as my limited knowledge, and documented inability to follow instructions allows.

Here are a couple of pictures, and I will be posting a more complete pics and mods post in the near future.

Thanks for reading, and I hope we get to meet.

Today after a rainstorm...Japanrot...crooked 325 tag (coming off tomorrow!)

Alright!! Sleeper status.

Debadge (LOL who put that on there) and a trunk handle paint would look sweet!

Look forward to exchanging knowledge with you, James.

The quickest way to describe it is as a 2004 M3, with a 2003 325i sitting on top of it...so all running gear, suspension, brakes, subframes, LSD, tranny, cluster, DME,..etc are M3.

He keeps telling me that both cars are red, so when I glance out in the morning, I won't notice right away, and he can always claim he just took the wrong car by accident.

It is probably my just desserts since I was a firm believer in the "It's easier to beg forgiveness, than ask permission" school of thought growing up.
