Were you installing gas kit?

Ok...so...hang on to gas kit, sell here, and buy gold valve.

Or buy a junk disa, for that arm only. It obviously does not come with the kit, correct?

You are replacing that piece withe the kit. Use the big ass screw that came with it to get that piece out. Use the online instructions from the web site

Did anyone else's new valve not open by itself when closed by hand? The instructions say that it should but mine has a good bit of resistance..

Everything is good. Been out driving. 4k dip seems reduced/gone all together and car seems a bit quicker.

Cool! Yea I can sometimes still tell when the valve opens because I've been so in tune to the issue for so long but the whole thing is just so much smoother...

This is the exact same issue I was having when my DISA was shot...too bad I didn't know about the repair kit and ended up buying new. Not a cheap part to replace haha!

Glad it worked out well and you're back on the road!
