... km.

But it's still impressive to see this on the cluster and the car's driving like it just came off the lot :)

Alex,

That's an awesome pic! :thumbsup Quite an accomplishment to exceed 200,000 mi and still have your car run as if it was still brand new. Keep her going! :)

I just bought it, of course I'll keep her going!!!

I bought it at 329k - pretty much everything has been done (maintenance-wise). I know it's got a new clutch, new brakes, etc. But the engine has never been rebuilt and is well within compression specs. Window regulators are original :eeps. Apart from that, no major work. It's all the normal wear items that have been done - cooling, gaskets, hoses, pulleys, etc. One accident, rear end at 100k mi and that's it. Almost no rust over 10 full city winters!!!

What parts on the e46 fail that would be a feat to have original at this mileage ? :p

Those are both in miles. Ray's e36 is a total champ!

And this is one reason why the U.S. is kinda stupid for sticking to imperial. Most of the rest of the world uses metric. Get with the program, U.S. government...

Anyway, carry on. :)

Hehe, for us it's even more annoying since we keep crossing borders. During the summer I work in the US, I ski in Vermont, etc.

PS: PO was part of the family. http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/showthread.php?96-What-s-the-current-mileage-on-your-BMW-330-ZHP&p=124096#post124096

Hahaha I wasn't hating when I said it was ridiculous. I should have said 'mind-blowing' :)

And there goes your avg american that says a 75k miles car is high mileage.

Funny how the only people that say 75k is high mileage are the people who take 10 years to get there. Meanwhile, those of use who do that mileage in 2 years laugh in the face of such low mileage and say "that's it???". :biggrin
