Not sure if anyone has seen these, but I ran across a FS post on another forum. A local guys was (I missed them) selling the shift knob and e-brake handle from en E90 car with the M-Sport package. He said the knob is weighted, and it looks just like the ZHP knob...
I'm thinking that'd be a really nice touch on the ZHP. Anyone else? I'm going to have to call the dealer and see what they can do. I think perforated leather would be a nice accent to the alcantara.

That would look great with my perforated steering wheel. In for prices when you find out!

I have the OEM e90 PE ebrake handle. I like it way better than the perf.

Can you clarify? What do you have? And you prefer it over...? Sorry, can't tell what PE is and if perf stands for performance or perforated.

So the e90 e brake handles will work on our cars? Hmmm good to know.

this is the Performance handle, it will work but inside is shaped different from the E46 version so it spins a little when I grab it. also, because of the different shape of the end you need the specific (or custom like me) shift boot for this handle

And yea sorry I like it better than the perforated. I tried then both when I got this.
I believe the price was $58 a year ago.

I think BP has that shift knob. I remember seeing something like that in his ZHP when I met him last year...

Ok so the perforated e brake handle should fit, just with a bit of play... Hmmm I need to find one to see how well I could retrofit.

I'm not expert, but it looks like the knob might have some sort of clip on the bottom... I think that would mean it's a no-go on the e46. Hopefully I'm wrong :)

Ebrake handle uses a small zip tie at the bottom.
The knobs slide right on and off with a little M.A.N tool when in 2nd gear.

if this wasn't finalized, the BMWP perforated knob is NOT weighted. Standard on E9x and E8x Msport models. Had it in both of my old bimmers, loved the feel. Should fit E46 w/o an issue, zip tie also needed for ebrake handle as well.

Hmm interesting. The person selling the ones pictured had said that the knob was weighted. I will have to look into this more. There is a blue 335i coupe with M Sport package for sale at the local Audi dealer. Maybe a test drive is in order to get a feel for the knob. :shift

I have a complete e brake handle/lever out of my ZHP I'd consider selling if you're interested. PM me if you are.
I switched to the oem Alcantara one.
