Well, since I posted this over at e46f and bf.c, I figured I'd post it on here as well!
After almost 3 years, being my first car as well, it was time to get rid of the 323i..

Since then, I've moved onto bigger and better things. Meet the Phoenix Yellow E46 M3.
Pictures are courtesy of my skilled friend, Zlatan. There will be more to come (especially during the Fall season  )

He only paid $19k. 32K miles. One owner. Garaged. 9.9/10. Some kinda shady deal going on there.....:shifty

Are you sure?? that car looks clean. Only 32k miles. Something is afoot. Maybe he paid his friend 19k to take the pictures?

Yes. That's his quote from another forum.

So, Mr. Wilson, you are telling me that my raggedy old ZHP, with 74,000 miles, is worth only about 3k less than that M3? I'm starting to think our ZHPs are a bit more special than we all let on??

Yep! I saw you over at E46F and welcomed you to the ///M :) Great to see you here as well :thumbsup

Also, feel free to move it wherever you see fit.
To the rest of you, thanks everyone! Sorry I didn't respond earlier, just got out of class.
I'm still in just as much disbelief as the rest of you, driving this car = a total blast.
So many headturns, so many compliments...and it's only day 2!
Also, my friends now "hate" me as well...specifically, the one that took the pictures. lol, he almost bought an e46 PY M3 vert from Massachusetts, until the owner told him it went through a flood.
P.S: The photoshoot was free.^^^ :D

Not yet. I'm not sure what there IS to mod! This car is overall just so perfect...
If anything, I'd be looking at a bi-xenon headlight conversion. I regret putting how much money and time I did with the 323...I think I'll stick with performance mods (if any).
Wow, great steal. Congrats. Add me to the ranks of jealous. BTW, nice pics too.
Thanks! I dig all of your ZHPs by the way, definitely beautiful cars.
My friend's gotta take all the credit for the pics, he knows what he's doing! Whereas I just use my 8MP Droid Charge and snap parking lot pictures whenever I feel necessary...lol
Can you post interior shots? And how do you like going from four to two doors?

Big difference at first. The door feels a lot heavier, and getting in/out without hitting my feet on something is what I have yet to get used to...but I really like it. I prefer the the look of the coupe, but the practicality of the sedan, with that said, I rarely had people in the backseat of my 323i.
And yeah of course! Here are some interior shots:

Also, just washed it and took off the front plate...looks a lot cleaner up front without it. :)

Keep searching! You'll find something sooner or later. :)
And thank you.
So how do you like the S54 :)
It's awesome. The power's always there...no need to wait for a turbo to spool.
The sound past 3-3.5k RPMs is... indescribable really. :wub

I can't say that I'm jealous of OP for his recent acquisition. Actually....I'm very happy for him. Ry, you will find that "perfect" ///M....just take your time and you will get it. For me it wasn't about mileage as much as the overall condition of my ///M. You saw first hand what I had done to mine...;) Still going to be doing more before SIGFest2013...:thumbsup
To the OP.....once the mod bug hits you on the ///M you will start modding.....there's coilovers, wheels, CAI, headers, exhaust....the list goes on and on.....but one thing different.... everything will cost you more for the ///M than it did for the 323i...:biggrin I will say this again....that's one clean PY ///M you have there! Enjoy every minute of ownership bro :thumbsup
I have a friend who hosts ///M meets in the Manchester area....perhaps you should come over when we have the next one :) Would love to check out your car in person....you can check out mine as well ;)

Freakin' mod bug...checking my sheets before going to sleep every night. :shifty
And let me know, I'm definitely down to show up!
By the way, we've already met, my friend. :D
You were at the Kaizen Tuning meet in early Summer/end of Spring of this year, right? You were there with another TiAg e46 M3 and there was an AW E46 M3 parked next to you guys, some Asian dude (really nice guy, all of you were cool actually :fistpump ).
We spoke for a bit, you were telling me the differences between the OEM and aftermarket M3 side mirrors that I had on my 323i, when I thought they were OEM.
You also showed me around your M3! Very sweet ride man, two thumbs up. Dig the choice in modifications as well.
One other thing, is this the meet in Manchester? Definitely looks like fun! And...you guys appear to be missing a yellow M3!

I feel like the color is different throughout the times of day, dependent on the sunlight. However, I love it regardless.

What a deal and what a car! I'd own PY for that price/mileage, no doubt.
With the characteristics this car has, I would've bought it no matter the color, as long as it's an OEM M3 color. :)
It's just a plus that PY is extremely rare up here (never seen one in VT before, only once at the dealer with Quebec plates) and I like the color. Being unique is awesome!! :D
OP: "Thanks! I dig all of your ZHPs by the way, definitely beautiful cars. "
Me: Do I detect a bit of condescension?:).
Not at all! Sorry to come off that way, I feel as if 95% of the people on here own a ZHP, just complimenting you all on your well kept/well modified cars. :)
I've seen a couple of ZHPs drive by me in person and I always turn my head. They really are gorgeous cars. Also really rare up here in VT!

I know there will be a meet sometime soon that Brian will be setting up. I usually let BP know as he has made the trip up with me. New Hampshire roads are so nice! Anyway, it's a great time and we end up with several ///Ms at Brian's place. Great people and always good food...:thumbsup

congrats! I love phoenix yellow. I know its a little odd to say, but I feel that the S54 "rasp" suits that color best. I mean that in a good way.
edit: your lucky enthusiasts auto didnt find that. they would've flipped that car and sold it for ATLEAST 10k more.
