Gas cap tether

My gas cap tether became "unhooked"... It's attached to the cap, but not to the car. Does anyone have a pic of where I could reattach. It does not look broken.

Well, now I feel even more mechanically insufficient.

Was looking in the wrong place.
It had fallen out of the slot in the door.
Popped back in perfectly.
