I was going to chime in that the last time I bought BMW 5-30 synth it was $5.94/qt - but that is way lower than I see it anywhere now. Bummer. Might have to make the switch to M1 at these prices...

Dam I just got hosed on my Mobil 1 purchase then. Bought a case of 6 quarts off Amazon for $50 shipped. Needed 1 more quart and got one at Autozone for $8.99 plus tax!

I know where not to buy Mobil 1 0W-40 ... Pep Boys. It's now crept up to $9.79 per quart in my neighborhood. And yeah, it's a shame that Walmart stopped selling it by the 5-quart jug.

I think in going to look into Quarts. Keep seeing ads for it in Roundal. Car had it when I bought it and seemed to run ever-so-slightly smoother than with the mob1 I put in.

The Amazon price is for a case of 6. Last week I checked the price and it was $48.65. I placed the order a few days later and it was $50.44 and today it's $51.69! It went up $3 a case in 7 days!
