Received the following PM at Bf.c.

Hey, I was wondering if you knew of any ZHP owners that are interested in trading for an E92 335i. Thanks.

Lemme know and I will put you in touch.

No thanks. BTW, just thinking, if your name started with a "T" your sig would extra cool.

Probably depends on the trim level of it. Obviously I don't have the $$ to do it, but I wouldn't do it anyways.

I don't like how they drive, their automatic OR manual transmissions + clutch engaugement, gear notchiness, or their suspension. Unless loaded, their interiors bore me as well.

Is this local to us?

Seth - just read through your 135 thread. Great car, and that piece you wrote about selling it was authentically powerful.

Haha thanks. Would love to eventually get back into an n54/55 but for now the Zhp works for me just fine.

As much as the 335i is fast, I have also heard that the first gen had "high-pressure fuel pump" (HPFP) issues. Since this thread is about any ZHP owners interested in trading their car for this 335i, it would be helpful to have more information on the car... specifically:

- mileage
- maintenance history of the car
- if there were any recalls performed on this car
- any mods performed on this car

Without knowing what year/gen this car is I would guess it would be hard for anyone to seriously look at trading their ZHP for this. I for one wouldn't as I find mine perfectly set up for daily driving :)

Yeah.....agree. I asked him for some amplifying info and linked him to this thread. He won't be able to comment as he's not a member here.....but he can PM me at BF.c to add info.

Just got this from the interested "swapper"

"I saw the thread you posted on ZHP Mafia, I greatly appreciate it!

Details are:
-2007 335i Coupe
-Auto
-98k Miles
-No Mods (besides golf tee)
-I have records from the whole life of the car.
-Previously a CPO car (warranty ran out earlier this year)
-HPFP has been replaced and has warranty until 120k miles
-Most recent maintenance includes N54 carbon blasting and spark plugs
-Oil changes every 5k
-Brakes are at 90%
-Tires are at 85% and they are OEM runflats
-Interior is 9.5/10 (their is a very minimal amount of cracking on the driver's bolster, but not tears or stains anywhere)
-Exterior has no dings and the paint has extremely low amount of rock chips, there is one small chip on the driver door handle. Otherwise the paint is in very good condition besides some swirls
-Small amount of curb rash on 2 of the wheels, otherwise they are perfect

My friend that works for BMW is going to give me the complete original option list soon, so I will get that to you asap.

Once again, thanks for the help."

He is a very close friend of mine.

His 335 is very nice. He previously had a Dinan pre facelift E46 330i. No catch, just wants to trade for a ZHP (with cash on top obviously).

See the issue I have now is a 100k mile car that's likely had the turbos put through the ringer.

Hpfp issues dont bother me cuz were fixed by BMW under warranty so even if a buyer had an issue now I believe it's still covered like he said till 120k

I came from a 335i, don't do it :)

Never a swap I would do. Going from one of the best cars of all time(let alone one of the best BMWs of all time) to one of the worst they have made. HPFP failure, turbo failure, lag, direct injection carbon buildup, E90 interior and build quality, E90 exterior, and the general feel.

All that for a bit more speed in a straight line. Count me out. ;)

I wouldnt do it either but that's me personally. The 335i besides the fact it is boosted does not appeal to me.
