View Full Version : WTT: Sedan Blk cube trim for Silver cube trim

I have the black cube trim on the interior of my sedan (65k miles) and would like to trade for the silver - I think it accents the car better with a fully blacked out interior. Not vital though! Just a preference... I'll try to get shots of the trim, detailing any cosmetic issues, when I get back home (little over a week 12/9/12). If you are thinking about it let me know, nothing will be set in stone until I get back! I live in Seattle, WA and am open to meeting in person to conduct the trade to save shipping $$$.

Are you willing to provide your black trim + cash?

Yes, possibly... Depends on how much. Feel free to make any offers, the worst I can say is no. :)

I'm in Seattle, WA. The cube is in great shape except for the driver's side - which is fairly scratched up. I'll take pics tomorrow. I'm not sure how the previous owner scratched it that badly... but to be honest it's in bad shape on that side. I've only had the car for 2 wks and it's under 65k miles.

Some pics:
Front Trim (left to right) it's in mint condition - just pardon the speckles of white dust.

Center Console/Gear Shift: Many scratches which are observable in pic. I haven't tried to 'repair' it in any way.

To anyone that ends up buying this... You can easily refurbish it to like-new condition for $10 of supplies.

This is when I did mine. Top is OEM, never refinished, and bottom was riddled with scratches prior to repainting. Both look 100% identical in real life.

^^^ NICE!!! Thanks for the tip. The more I'm with the black cube, the more it grows on me. I think I may fix it up tomorrow and post the results.
EDIT: HAHA, LOVE the last comment on your DIY: spray paint in the Uk is £45??? O_o

I wonder if you could do this with silver paint on silver trim...

I will certainly try it on my broken silver cube trim piece when I replace it and let everyone know.

Thanks- especially for the reality on the scratches. Both of my Silvie's PO's totally babied her- Not a mark on it anywhere. Guess I'll hold onto the silver cube for now- GLWTS
