Window Problem(not the regulator?)

I am having a problem with the driver's window. I press up, window goes down. I press down, window goes down. All of the other windows work normally. I tried to search and didn't find much. Maybe the switch? Right now the only saving grace is that I can use the key in the door to roll it up. Thoughts?

EDIT: It was a bad window switch. 50ish dollars for the part.

Ah the gm5 module. I have heard that causing other problems as well.....

I am hoping it's not the gm5, but I will let you guys know as I figure it out. Probably won't be until after the Holidays. Too much going on.

GM5 repair is not too bad since you have another car you can drive, I'm just gonna send mine in and have it fixed while my ZHP is in the garage

Maybe try the switch first though, it's not too expensive, right?

I think the switch is 40 or 50 $

I definitely have the click halfway through as the window is going up anyway, so the window regulator itself is on the way out.

Finally went out and bought a new window switch today. Fixed the problem right up. I like easy solutions. :cheers

Ah sounds like my switch just went out also. Mine did the same exact thing on the way to work! Thanks for posting the Key trick Cam, I wasn't aware of that option.

Edit: Window rolled up fine using the key, switch ordered.
