***Updated***

Hey guys,

I joined this forum in early Jan while still on my search to find one that suited me. I'm glad to say that I just picked up "my" Orient Blue ZHP from the guys over at EAG. After a great first couple hundred miles driving her back, I couldn't be more pleased. Eric, at EAG, took the time to perform a number of updates both from a preventive maintenance and appearance/cosmetic point of view and the car looked stunning when we drove up to his shop.

A big thank you to all those who I've spoken to and received advice from over the last few weeks. I definitely look forward to learning more about the car as well as learning how to keep it in great condition from you guys.

As mentioned when I joined, I'm in the Tri-State area and love going up to Bear Mountains. If you guys know of any other great roads in the area (hard to find!) , please let me know.

If anyone is interested, I'm part of some great Go-Karting and Formula 1 meetup groups near NYC - feel free to pm me for info or see the links below to join - really a great group of people in both.

Welcome to the forum Raj! Good luck finding the perfect car. They are getting harder and harder to locate... As for blue, the two that come to mind are both Orient Blue, 6 spd sedans. One is located in Cincinnati, has alcantara interior and 101k miles. The other is located in Washington, has natural brown interior, and has 52k miles.

Good luck with your search. I recommend scouring Autotrader and www.searchtempest.org daily!

Welcome!

ZHP's are getting harder to find as time goes on but with a little patience and some help fro members here I'm sure one will turn up for you.

Are by chance part of the F1 group in NYC that watches the races at The Australian?

William.

Anyone know of someone close to Atlanta who can check out this car or give me feedback? On paper it looks good, dealer couldn't give too much other information regarding mechanicals other than they did an oil change.

Welcome Raj. Understand you want 4dr & 6mt, what mileage range are you comfortable with? I have a knack for finding them, so give me some clues and we'll see what I can dig up for you.

Hey Raj... Cam (screenname Torxuvin) is in the Atlanta area and a really good guy. He might be able to help you out. Also, I PMed you about that list of things to look at on a ZHP. As soon as I get your email, I'll send it off to you...

Good luck!

Welcome Raj! :hi As you can see there are a lot of us willing to help you find your ZHP :) Don't let the distance prevent you from getting it either... As Bruce stated, ZHPs are getting harder and harder to find so keep that in mind as well. Good luck on your search and when you find her....be sure to share the news with all of us! :thumbsup

That's right, I'm picking her up this weekend...hope the weather hold out and PA Route 125 will be doable on the way back! Will be sure to keep you all posted with pics, story etc.

Let me just say that everyone here has been great and extremely helpful, and I really appreciate your feedback, insight, and advice. Hope to get my dates set and join for the Mafia meetup in May.

Cheers.
