Another ZHP at EAG in Cincinnati. Price high vs mileage but if truly needs nothing, could be a good value.

VIN was already logged @ ZHP registry.

hmmm...leaning towards agreeing with you re: the price.. Would be easy to justify if it had the Nav or cold weather package, but it appears to have neither.

I think this car has been up for a long time. Price should be closer to $12k.

I don't know - that well maintained with the tasteful (Dinan) and effective (presuming a 3.46 diff) mods could get the right buyer up to 14 or 15.

Yea, I don't think 15,500 is out of the question. As always, I'd have to give it a thorough inspection, but if it checked out not a bad price point. Oh yea, it's Orient Blue too-that adds significant value:)

Hey guys,

I'm happy to provide full details in the coming week or so, but this car is officially "mine". A sleepless night and a thorough review of all the documentation I was able to get gave me the nudge.

Thanks to echo46 for his valuable input, barring anything off when I look it over in person - I'm in on this one.

Raj,
You're going to be pleasantly surprised. EAG goes thru everything, they'll deliver a car that needs nothing but a new owner. They check all maintenance items and fix it if it needs to be done or is close to needing to be done, then they let you know what else it will need in the future. Good move and nice score.

what I paid for a 64k miles car with natural brown interior, navigation, AUx input, extra snows, BMW Performance brakes, BMW performance pedals and Shift knob, Dinan package with exhaust, DME, intake, BMW Splitters etc etc.....

Well Mike miller had this to say about this particular car:

If you're looking for the last word in E46s,
you could probably do worse than a 2004
330i ZHP Sedan in Orient Blue metallic over
black Alcantara, including Alcantara/ cloth
seating, Black Diamond Cube interior trim,
six-speed manual, Premium Package, Xenon
headlights and Harman-Kardon audio with
101,054 miles. This car has had four manual
gearbox and differential oil changes, precisely
per my Lifetime Maintenance Schedule, and
had its full BMW "Inspection II" services at
30,000 miles, 60,000 and 90,000 miles. It is set
for a long service life if proper maintenance is
continued. Its cooling system has new plastic
parts, the rear trailing arm bushings have
been replaced and it received four new
Original BMW shocks at 95,000 miles Still
more: Dinan free flow intake, throttle body
and Stage 3 software. This car was offered biy
the Enthusiast Auto Group for $15,990 fully
detailed, fully serviced and ready to roll out
of Cincinnati, OH. —Mike Miller

Hey guys...like I said I lost sleep on this one! After a few very long convo's with the owners of EAG in OH, the history was much better than any of the other cars I'd seen. The piece by Mike Miller was actually sent to me by the EAG guys in advance of the April 2013 issue (hits the stands in Feb) from Bimmer mag. Apparently he was at their shop and evaluated this car specifically for his piece regarding e46's - that was the "nudge" I mentioned earlier.

I'll see how everything goes this weekend...

Nivo - def interested in hearing more about your deal! Shoot me a pm or let us know how you did it...that sounds incredible! The closest thing I've seen to that so far was the one by Tlander in WI - the orient coupe, NB interior, etc...best color combo (the one I was going for, but very hard to find!)

Should add Tlanders car in WI went for over $17k I think...was originally asking for a bit higher than that.

Raj, great choice. I looked at this car too, very hard in fact. I just couldn't pull myself away from the Alpine White... You will love it though and I'm sure the car will be good to you.

Good luck and enjoy the new car!

Congrats and hope everything went well. :)

PS: If you like the nb interior and seem ok with a dark exterior, any reason you didn't like the black ext-brown interior zhp in Atlanta, which - if I am correct - is a 05 model and has less than 60k miles?

Hey man, Atlanta car seemed ok from the phone, but the dealer didn't know anything about it in terms of history, maintenance (what should be done etc). The EAG guys just knew all their stuff and their reviews are very good aside from price. That coupled with the Mike Miller endorsement in next months mag and, hey, the fact that it's blue pushed me towards it. I'll see it this weekend and hopefully drive it back...will keep you posted or start a thread. I'm new to BMW so appreciated peace of mind.

I haven't seen the report back about the blue car in NC, but the history for that thing was all over the place.
