you must have missed the other thread.

Personally, I think you need CF trim everywhere to pull it off. Matches black cube ok...

I must have. I thought the other thread was for the E81 ///M sport knob.

Shit...I dunno......

I tend not to go for shift knobs that are pole shaped, but I like the styling on it at least. Too bad it wasnt shapped more like the ZHP knob or 1 series sport.

I like it more so than the old Performance knob... And I agree, would blend a bit with black cube... Real carbon fiber trim would be so :drool

Can anyone comment on the size of performance knobs? I'm 6'6", so I have big hands, and I find the ZHP knob small for me.

Damn. I only remembered it referring to the silver one.

And mines a polling thread :)

I still don't like the look of the performance knobs in the E46 interior.

ZHP knob will always be the best looking knob in that interior, imo.

This. I found the shape of the Performance knob awkward to shift with due to the way it doesn't conform to your hand and/or fingers.

The ZHP knob is the most comfortable shift knob I've ever driven with in any car I've driven.

on TT today.

I wonder why they don't update the app so we can see polls...

If this shift knob came lit then I would most likely use this in my ///M since I have a full interior carbon fiber trim....

it can be done if you're careful when taking off the emblem (or just order a new one because the original one will probably be messed up when you take it off)

Kinda like it, but could use other c/f or black cube (as others have said) to help it out IMHO.

It's smaller than the ZHP knob

As stated above, I'm not feeling the pole shape. I also agree with Kay, the ZHP knob just flat out works.

What I meant to say was I don't like the way it looks in my car or any other E46-- but it looks great in YOU'RE car. :biggrin :shift

Hehe..........I can pull it off with silver cube trim and alcantara interior.

I'm going to that E81 knob for sure though.

Yeah, man.

Make it yours, brother.

In for pics when it's in there.

I like it....however I would still take the 135 knob over this one mainly due to the increased weight.

For those who have wrapped their interior trim with 3m DI-noc or 1080 series film, you may find this helpful. From what I can see, that new performance knob has a matte cf finish to it. It doesn't look glossy. It would match nicely with cf wrapped trim.
