I got five like-new 135m style wheels. Two fronts and three rears. all with really good condition tires. The rears have Nitto Invo and the fronts have some strange brand tires.

One question thought. They all have 245/40/18 tires. I know that i will have no problems on the rear. But how about the front. I know that several of you run square 235's. Is 245 too wide for a 8'' wheel?

Im very happy with my buy. Paid $500 and now I have 9 wheels. Thinking of plasti dipping my old wheels since they are in bad conditions (paint is ruined). Having a red car does not help with wheel colors as not many colors look good on red cars IMO.

What a great buy, where'd you find those? I think you'll be OK but I'll let the experts chime in to be sure.

#2 245 in front will be fine.

Went to my local classifieds just for fun (had no intention on buying anything) and found these wheels. Pure coincidence. So i could not help myself and bought them; not as easy to see some of these wheels for sale here in PR.

Thanks! Just took the new wheels/tires for a spin and they feel bettter than the 225 up front. Maybe my 20k mile Toyo T1R's are on their way out (on the old wheels).

I do plan on taking the old wheels to a shop and get fixed up real good, but in the mean time I was thinking of plasti dipping the wheels just for fun, and maybe that will help to prevent further damage while not used.

If you're plasti-dipping a set, go gunmetal - it looks amazing on imola.

Juan Luis, that's a very good deal !

Just to compare: 2 years ago I bought a set of used OEM style 162 ( 18" ) for my e90. I paid $450 but I needed to travel 300 miles round trip to get them. Plus, 2 of the tires were almost bold.

In general it should be ok, but how much you can work with it depends on the tire. Either call the mfg, or a reseller like Tirerack (if they sell it)
