I thought I'd go ahead and start a thread for this car as I was close to going to look at it and try to get them down below the $11.5 I negotiated via email w/ Diane.

I did have the car PPI'd by an indy shop nearby (MD Motoworke in Somerdale). The shop owner, Dan, said he knew Kyle at Delaware Valley Motors as he had done work for him. Said he was a good guy to deal with. Dan assured me that I was the paying customer and I would get an impartial inspection.

Over all he gave the car good marks on the physical and driving inspection.
VINs all match, small tear in one door seal, one belt looks new, drive belt has tears, base of windshield trim has cracks, anti-freeze is clear and tests to -34, brake rotors and pads are good (no specs given), some oil around L side of engine (may be from replacing VCG), diagnostics tool could not communicate with ABS system, No fault presets in OBD, needs driving for one more emission readiness code is set as ready (if emissions is an issue in your state--it is in VA). Clutch and transmission felt good. No noise of looseness from CABs/wheels. Visual inspection of shocks and struts show no issues--they appear to be the originals. Water pump appears to be original. ET looks new. All-in-all Dan liked the car and said it was a nice driver (he drives an M5).

I was on a family vacation to Philly and ran out of time to pursue this car and one other I was very interested in (illirep's black beauty). I did email and offer Diane $10k cash to which she replied they were firm on $11,495 plus processing fee, etc.

Dealer claims:
Replaced three window regulators
Replaced Sunroof Shade
Replaced Shift Knob
Replaced Window Switch
Replaced Valve Cover Gasket
Replaced Oil Filter Housing Gasket
Replaced Radiator Hose
Replaced Expansion Tank
Replaced Throttle Boot
Oil Service

Hope this helps someone.

Don't feel too bad, I saw this car in person back in Jan when I was on my search. Interior was quite rough, wheels were rashed "relatively" badly. Compared to the others cars I'd seen this was priced high. It drove well enough.

It looks like its sold now though.

Thanks for the feedback. She did say she had a couple of other interested parties. The search continues...
