Greetings, everyone! I've already met a few of you but wanted to introduce myself. I'm John from LA, I have an M3 and I've loved every minute of it. It's pretty much stock but I've done little things here and there. Looking forward to learning more about BMWs and especially ZHPs with you guys and helping whenever I can.

Thanks John, William and Jon!

Glad you finally made it over here John, great to have you! All, I met John from E46 in the verts section, and he knows more about vert tops than anyone I've met. Great guy, and we had a good time hanging with him, Jon (joop), and William this past weekend. Plus, he drives a black vert, what could be better? (Well, it's the WRONG black, but I won't hold that against him any more than I hold that against William's dirty black). :)

Hey John, glad to see you joined the forum. Was great meeting you and love the ///M. Enjoy your time here, and share all your wealth regarding vert tops...

Meanwhile, I'll continue to remind you guys that BMW cheated you of the parts that would've made your cars awesome..... rear doors...

ZING! :biggrin

Haha the fact that the people are so awesome here is probably why all these grown ass men (myself included) have "friends we met on the internet" as our wives like to say... :rofl

Thinking back to when I was shopping for my car, two different dealers let me test drive a black convertible they had; each of which seemed different and special. Turns out they were ZHPs! Had no idea at the time, but there was something about the feel, the black cube trim and suede steering wheel (one of the cars even had the whole interior like that) that made the cars stand out.

I know as I look through the photos on here I won't find a single one I wouldn't love to be driving. Beautiful machines.

Benvenuto a la famiglia John. Nothing wrong with an M3, but it's not a ZHP! Just kidding...great ride. Are you registered in the BMW M Registry? http://www.bmwmregistry.com/

Quite a few people on here didn't know what they were the 1st time either. Personally, I subscribe to Car and Driver and I remember reading the very first article about them. That's the only reason I knew what they were, but I couldn't point one out on the street if my life depended on it until I got one and learned the differences.
