My business partner has had a fascination and gratefulness to the certain flyers who have flown mission where the likelihood of them coming back is slim to none. To celebrate keeping the country free and to symbolize what we fight for in our business I had my friend fabricate something that's incredibly symbolic to our culture. This project took 6 months to create but the end project is amazing. My friend had guys use autocad to design the steel structure that is the base of the table. Then the steel was cut, curled, solid weld, and plasma cut.

My business partner purchase an old scrap plane which was a same model used in the war and not flight worthy anymore. Paint was stripped to be repainted into the army green that we see in the military. This boardroom table will match several of the paintings of warplanes that living veterans who flew in those exact planes have personally signed on the canvas.

I took an evening to try to take pictures of this piece. Boy was it hard to take because of the reflective glass. I need a polarizing filter for sure but I just waited until sundown and used my LED array to expose multiple exposure to create the pictures I have now.

Does anyone know much about what the symbol of the duck and meaning of Viet Cong? I'm not familiar with any of that. The other question is how much does this thing cost? Well you could buy a ZHP. LOL

The Viet cong was who america was fighting in the Vietnam war. The duck may just be a parody on hunting.

The duck could also be something relating the the squadron or the pilot.

Kinda an inside joke/meaning like the nose art on WWII bombers.

Walt Disney characters were always popular for military art

Ahhh I got it. Yes my partner said it was nose art of the aircraft. But since he doesn't have a nose he got it airbrushed onto the wing. It's an amazing piece and I know my friend will be able to make a lot more of these tables if someone wants. The glass on the table weighs 250lbs!!

I'm embarrassed for my desire to play beer pong on such a piece of artwork.

it's pretty easy to move move....the steel structure can be unbolted in 60 seconds by 4 bolts. The middle arm and diagonal cross member which makes for easy transporting. You just need to lift the wing off which is pretty light yet strong.
