Was in Switzerland again last week...

...This time it was for business. I went to a Gordon conference and presented my work.

We were in Les Diablerets (above Montreux/ Aigle).

Here is the hotel:

Went to the top of the mountain (3000 meters) to walk on a glacier. You can ski all-year-long.

Weather was decent but changed quickly. You are looking at Switzerland and Italy far across the mountains.

Then went to see my in-laws in Anzere (~ 40 miles away).

Thanks guys. Yep, place is very nice. I will be there this winter for Christmas time with my family.

Could not live there though, its very remote, food is not as great as in France and its difficult (and expensive) to find ingredients.

On top of that a lot of people, and I mean a lot, drive Audis (Swiss fascination is seems).

Very large bummer as there is practically no snow in the station! Skiing is limited to 6/23 runs and almost all is artificial snow.

Sucks a bit. But with family and friends so all is good.

Will try and post pics tomorrow.
