(These actually came about 5 days ago...didn't get a chance to inspect and clean them a bit until today...)
the blob on one wheel is a bit of plasti dip left over; this pic was taken PRIOR to cleaning...
(2 of the wheels have a bit of a dullness to the clear coat... any ideas on how to rejuvenate them?)

Awesome!

We just got home from a family visit in NY and UPS had delivered some piano kidneys that were awaiting me at the front door!

Looks like the stock 135 wheels? If so, i saw one zhp with them and they looked sweet!

Yep - they're style 264, came on the 135i :)

cant help but notice...they were plasti dipped. The only reason I state is because I wanted a change when I first got my 330 and I dipped my wheels, worst mistake so far. clean now, but never back to OE....:shifty Nice pick up. Tell me how to get it off the inner rim, or even better with style 135. I am so sad.

Well I actually stated in my opening post that they were plasti dipped :)
They look fine for their age - and cleaned up really nicely

I used soap water sonax and some penetration fluid carefully on the rough inner part of wheels to get the pd off
Was quite a bit of work but it worked pretty ok the outer painted side didn't have any residue so just sonax and spraying with water was enough to get dirt and brake dust off
I still have to get a lug nut brush to get the tiniest bits off from the lug nut holes

It's just on two wheels the shine is a bit less, which I doubt is due to the dip.
They look pretty much like my own wheels just normal signs of age IMO
Now this with just cleaning with some sonax and water at home
I am sure they will look pretty good when I polish and seal/wax them before installing

One wheel has some curb rash along the edge ( which I knew) and I am looking into getting that one refreshed soon
I am very excited and can't wait to see them on the car

Have to make a few decisions soon like try them without spacers in front or not, what type of valve stems to get etc
wonder if the valve stems from the zhp wheels can be transferred to these wheels any thoughts ?

Had the 264s on my wife's previous hellrot 330 conv, they do look sweet. For the fronts you'll probably want spacers as they're 1/2 inch narrower so they tuck in more than 135 wheels.

Yeah i might get spacers...
How did you deal with getting regular valve stems for these wheels ? Any regular stem should fit, right?
Did the shop just put some on or did you buy a specific set?

I would probably do a shot of Aquartz iron cut to really remove and deposits, and then a good buff with some polish and a wheel wax sealer perhaps?

They look sweet tho and will clean up nice.
