Yeah, but it's not really a feeler per se, as it is kinda listed somewhere else, so I deleted my comment. Regardless, GL!

Without a doubt, the car is gorgeous. I would have to ask myself: would somebody really pay for all those extras, when odds are they will never use them? Meaning they will only use one or the other (i.e. KW vs stock suspension, 2 sets of silver cube, clears and ambers, etc...) If you have even a slight interest in selling it, you would do so easier by splitting the extras up over forums and try to sell the car by itself, and that which is already bolted onto the car.

Even though it's not a "feeler", you are still not totally committed to selling the car (as you have said), which makes it kinda weird. Just see what Dane or Keith say.

EDIT: I see you have revised your post. Disregard.

Technically it is for sale, I just don't expect any fast action at my price. There are 100k plus mile ZHP's selling for $17-18k and EAG is driving the values up, so you never know!

Extra trim, KW1's, etc. are listed for sale. If they sell ahead of time, I'll modify the listing and price accordingly. Figure it gives the buyer options and they can sell what they don't want to recoup some cash.

Beautiful car, sad to see you've posted her for sale so soon. Good luck with the 335 and of course, you need to stick around here!

This is Au2bahn's old car isn't it? From the description it looks familiar...if so this is an awesome ZHP.

Yes it is. My favorite color combo behind the Alpine White/natural brown.

Good Luck with the Sale, or whatever ends up happening, Bill. It's a stunning car, and I know you've put a lot of thought in to this process. It'll be interesting to see what kind of numbers it can support in the market.

Not a big E90 fan myself, but that's not a bad looking 335, either.

TS2 was sold to another member on here to cover the cost of the interior conversion. Please re-read the initial post. I've added a lot more color and back-story, which will hopefully alleviate some of the negative feelings people have about what I have done with this car.

Thanks Dane for keeping this thread on track!

Given Jon's impeccable care for this car, followed by Bill's impeccable care for this car (I have spoken to Bill a lot about this car and others over the past 6 months) I doubt a test drive is even needed... I'm sure this car is showroom worthy, if not better..

GLWS Bill... I hope she goes to a good home.

OP - does this mean you'll be ZHP-less? Not for long, I imagine!

You are welcome to come test drive, as long as I get to try the 135is!

If this sells and I find the right M3, I'd be zhp-less, but just until the CPO on the 335i runs out next may. I wouldn't want to own that out of warranty.

Jon - thanks for the compliments! I would say this is pretty much the closest one can get to a 'new' zhp!

Gulp! With that low mileage and splendid set-up, you are making me look hard at my TS or AW preference bro! :)

Mind if I swing by this weekend to ogle at it a bit? :D

Good luck!

I can attest to this.

May I ask why you took the S/C off? I imagine to get the car back closer to stock?

If it stayed in the family, I'm waiting for someone to come through and admit they have it. :shifty

Raj / Mark - lets touch base on Friday regarding Saturday.

Nike - primary reason was to recoup some of the money I put into the car. Further, in my opinion, this was/is one of the cleanest / lowest mileage ZHP's in existence, and I felt that it was more valueable in stock + form. Everyone on here that I've talked to can attest to the fact that I am an OEM type of guy. My initial intent was to keep the ESS plus only the OEM Performance Parts, based on my preference, and for sleeper status! The interior ended up costing me triple what I had budgeted - ESS was sold.

Sure. Like Marc, I am also free on Sat afternoon and we can finalize the time based on your schedule and location.

Marc - cool!! Hopefully Bill's location is convenient enough for me to drive to your place and then go in your car. Eager to see how you drive the 1. :)

Went from non-heated sand beige to heated natural brown! Came out great! Much bigger project than I had anticipated. Should have documented it with pictures but once I get cranking, I don't like to stop and take pictures - plus most was done at night with a work lamp - so pics wouldn't have came out good.

KW1's sold, ebay buy-it-now price lowered to $25k. Without shipping, intake, strut, winter wheels and extra set of cube trim, the price is approx. $21.5k. And I'm willing to be more aggressive with 'family' members!

Raj and Bill -

If we could make something work for Saturday @ noonish, that would work for me. Raj, that would mean leaving from my house 11ish.

Raj - you've been at this search for a long time - this could be IT!

Marc - those timings should work for me. Let's wait for Bill to confirm both the time and location.

And yeah, tempting but then I remember skipping the 24k mile orient blue car in the midwest that was offered on our site last year (think it was around $21k, I might be wrong) primarily because I was/am set on getting only a TS or AW. That said, the natural brown interior is alluring...hmmm....let's see.

Thanks,

Rajan

I have pointed my manager in the eBay listing's direction. He's looking at buying a car and was looking at much higher horsepower cars, but convinced him to take a look at this one. FYI.

The listing really could use more pics, honestly... is that doable? He's already commented on the lack of pics to me.

Hey - thanks for the referral. My listing has a flickr link at the top of the description. I think I have close to 60 total. Here it is again for your convenience.

Tell him it is not all about raw horsepower. What is equally if not more important is how that car puts down the horsepower to the road!

Wow, Just makes me wonder what my wife's car would fetch. '04 IR vert with alcantara heated seats, I bought it at 8900 miles in Jan 2011, changed oil & battery (it was weak) immediately. Oil changes at 10K, 15K, and every 5K since then. Tranny & diff fluids changed at 15K, 30K, 45K, sitting just under 47K miles now and probably 55K by end of summer. S&D rotors, ceramic pads, sensors & SS lines done at 20K, still 75-80% pad remaining. BMW Performance intake and strut brace, Jon Estrella's near perfect stock 135s, I have new upper & lower intake boots at the ready to go in to do at "check up", but no signs of needing anything yet. GiGi says she wants to sell it at the end of summer, she's yearning for a 6-series. My 11 year old daughter off line has asked me if I would keep it so she can have a ZHP for her first car, FTW!!

Pretty steep premium though (seems not well taken care of), with your knowledge on cars, you could easily negotiate it down.
