Word to the wise regarding Dr. Colorchip.
I still don't have my car yet. Ugh.

My paint guy says he sprayed my hood, but he couldn't keep it from fish-eyeing around where the rock chips were.

He asked me what I used on the car, and the Dr. Colorchip is what we came up with that's giving him fits.

He has to spray again. I'm picking it up tomorrow.

I most likely won't use it anymore, knowing this.

Interesting. Did he offer an explanation? I thought (perhaps ignorantly) that respray = strip/sand/even out/spray. If all of that is done, wouldn't it remove the chips anyway?

Good thing I never had my old ZHP resprayed - practically the entire front end was Dr. Colorchip!

Just said that chemicals from DC work themselves under the paint, beyond the chip.

Any rock chip when doing a respray has to be sanded down flat prior to paint. Or it will create an uneven surface.

Winter tires are a better solution than an LSD when it comes to winter driving. Just saying. :)
I wonder how the DWS' will cope with the heavier snow that Ohio sees. Let us know, DeeDubs... ;)

And significantly more expensive while not getting the job done in snow. :p
I know the DWS' I had were "ok" in the snow, as with any all-season, but did get a little slippery at times when not really going all that fast. That was with about 6" on the ground.

Yes. The Gruppe is a very nice intake. Sound is about right, and I like the way it's built and works with the Stett boots.
