I think my alternator is bad. I was driving to work and my battery light came on. Then my radio died (including the screen), followed by the A/C. Then all the lights on the dash came on. Next the car died and I'm currently on the side of the road waiting on a tow truck

Thanks everyone. It's at the shop now and I'm home. Gonna get started on it tomorrow. Now about that drink.....

Hope it is a simple alternator swap like it sounds. Pricey but at least it's easy.

Autozone has one for 200. Bucks, but if my girlfriends brother in law buys it its less cause he has a shop and gets better pricing :)

Duralast parts do have a lifetime warranty.. :dunno

Yea, been there done that. How many miles have you got on your old alternator?

As far as I know it's never been replaced...I'm at 163K miles.

Yes correct, and the Duralast Gold Alternator is made with all Bosch parts....

I ended up getting this one from TMS.
