Hallo!
Mein Name is Sam,
I'm new to the forum but have been driving my ZHP for about half a year now.
Currently I'm in Texas, I just drove back from California. Hopefully I can contribute even a small percentage of what this forum has contributed to me working on my car.

Anyway, I've attached some pictures of the ZHP. The picture with the roof box is how I drove across the country and back. The car is absolutely excellent for roadtrips, and has absolutely no problems with the roof box.
The other picture was taken by the previous owner.
The car has 115k miles on it after roadtrips and everything, when I got it it had only 98k miles, so I've really gotten to know the car.

Before going on the roadtrip I replaced the *entire* cooling system, CVV, oil housing gasket, and belts which I detailed in this thread (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=678522) on bimmerfest.
Ever since then the car has only given me "small" issues :D

Look forward to getting to know everyone!

Here are the pics, unfortunately I'm having trouble resizing them.

That's what I thought too, but they will be posted later he said. There is a link the post which is hard to see that details the cooling system replace.

Howdy partner, looks like you have plenty of good tools and experience, judged from that bimmerfest thread.

^Hehe

I think we have quite a few German speakers here on the forum. It helps me when I'm navigating foreign parts sites and reading BMW code.

I'm actually headed to Houston for a friend's bachelor party this coming weekend, but it looks like it'll be a full weekend.
Ever been fishing off the gulf coast?
