Flushed all the coolant and replaced it, while at the shop I remembered I had felt a couple of stutters the last couple of days and we checked the hoses and sure enough, the main is cracked, we ordered it should be here in a couple of days....

Finished installing new Koni FSD's w Stock Springs (purchased from Imola.ZHP- Thanks!). Used spring compressors from AutoZone but enlisted the help of a neighbor who has an air impact wrench to both loosen the old strut top nut and tighten the new top nuts (basically impossible to do by hand- which many DIYs say is possible). Alignment this week.
Getting an alignment on the e30 right now.
Replaced the water pump, pulley, power steering pulley, and thermostat. The voltage regulator would be included in this list however, discovered I had the wrong connector :banghead: So, instead I am getting a brand new alternator because my parts place does not have the voltage regulator I need. At least I get a new alternator for not much more.
Needs to be the voltage regulator from a z4 iirc.Quote:
