that's sweet. a bit rich for me - i like the atlas 'kiwk bay' though, it doesn't go as high but it's also less than half the cost. :)

Had to order a new tire because of this little guy

That's not patchable?
I use those rubber plugs with rubber cement and never had an issue with the many times I've used them. They're always in my trunk so I can fix it on the side of the road in 5 minutes.
Yeah, I could never shell out that much to a shop for basic stuff. I learned to work on cars because a shop wanted $1900 to do the timing chains on my GTI and I wasn't having it. Talk about getting intimate... thank goodness for online DIYs!
Everything went well, things are looking great at 40k+, even the trans and diff fluid looked pretty clean, but I replaced it anyways. I forgot my power bleeder at my folks place, so I had to save the brake fluid flush til next weekend and decided to hold off on PS fluid till then too.
Replaced my HID bulbs with new Phillips today, one was starting to turn pink and flicker. Bright as the shining sun now!!
I had the same thing with my wife's TSX recently I guess I'm glad someone else confirmed what my tire shop said, b/c I didn't really believe them. Sorry these things can't be patched like back in the old days.
