If cost wasn't an issue, you could just buy the BMW leather by the yard (I think) and get a custom upholster job on it. I'd of course buy some cheapo Grey seats to do it on so you could at least sell the Imola to someone who really wants it. :)

Yeah, knowing this, I stand by what I said. For weekend cruising, normal seats are a must.
Talk to Derek if you want to know what it's like to live with. He might be able to provide some valuable insight. I'm a bigger guy so I've never been comfortable in racing seats, but that tends to change person to person.
I would likely go more comfort oriented seats like recaro Sportsters or something like that, not the full on race moulded ones
