good choice - there are some seats that can do both street and track fairly well. the recaro SRD that i've got can be a bit of a pain to get out of (in is not so bad), mostly due to the thigh bolsters, but it is a highly comfortable seat, and has shoulder harness slots. if i was going to DD/track a car, this seat would be my first choice - my wife didn't complain about it when i was using it years ago.

i'm 6'1", 190lbs, athletic build (32" waist) and find the recaro fit to be perfect. they are hard to "go and size up" so i hope this helps as a reference point. i think the newer recaro 'speed' seats are a bit wider.

I have the Recaro Sportster CS leather seats - they are so comfortable and incredibly supportive. The only thing I wish almost all sport/race seats had as option - adjustable head support...in my case it is more because I have a slouch...bad posture
