That is a possibility. But bends so happen however a crack is something else.

Nolan and I did the first oil change on his TDI today. Pretty straightforward. Used the extractor. I did have to run out for a 1.5"/32mm socket for the filter--it's just like ours except a different size. I think it may have been overdue and am sending a sample off to Blackstone. They boys head back to SC on Sunday.

Yea but I live in a 750sq ft apartment that I have the privilege of paying $1800 a month +10% more each year. My fiancé has been very patient with the whole deal (storing 4 arc-8s until I got them on. Storing the style 135s until I sold them). We kinda want normal usage of our 2nd room closet back :(
Im not sure I can pay to fix them and sell them and break even.
One ZHPM member was interested and looked at photos of them. He said it was too risky; thinking they're unfixable.
Found what was rattling in my suspension: broken bracket holding steering pump hose in place. Zip tied it for now. See my thread in the DIY section if you have any tips on how to fix it.
Was at the dealer today picking up a loaner car (2014 320xi) because the mechanic fixing our x5 went home sick today, we won't get the x5 back until Monday at the earliest. While waiting my parts counter guy offered up the BMW window scraper/snow brush, only $19.99, I declined as we already have one in the x5. Then he punched the calculator, said we should have them for the other BMWs, offered them to me at 30% off list, I'm a sucker, grabbed 2 for $28 (plus sales tax).
