Cleaned the moisture out of the D/S headlight.
Also got my first kill last night (on a closed course in Mexico, obviously). Veloster Turbo with a BOV and an A pillar full of gauges. Had him by a length through 2 gears shifting before redline. Of course I got the fly by when it was over, but I figured 2 gears on city streets was enough.
Ordered her m3 engine and transmission mounts.
I found out my tablet fits perfectly in my center console so I loaded my Dash Command account on it and used it for data logging today.

Cleaned the interior of my wifes zhp. Good weather here in Virginia today.

In other news, drove the car again today, this time with a fellow Mafia member (Stefan, screenname ZHPasta) as his ZHP is also an automatic. He confirmed that it isn't quite as tight as his car (I agreed after driving his car too) but he said it feels pretty good.
So, next up is to review the expendable income and make an offer. Hoping for an opening offer of $7000. Lots of cosmetic work needed. We shall see.

330xi, finally cleared all the codes. Was getting a faulty fuel injector on cylinder #1 code from my Peake reader but it ran perfectly fine. Drove to a friend's shop, used his Snap-On reader, it said faulty radiator temp sensor. Told him I just replaced the whole cooling system. He said to unplug the temp sensor on the lower radiator hose, wait 10 seconds, then reconnect. Went to grab that sensor,'s wire, the wiring harness wasn't fully pressed onto the sensor. Did that, to complete a firm connection, all codes gone, it runs like a top, so happy for a zero cost fix. Next started on removing the window tint, it had browned out over the years. Finished the side windows but that rear window is proving to be a PITA. Had to quit when the sun went down and temp started dropping, will try to complete this chore tomorrow.
335xi, re-installed the repainted window trim, the shadow line trim looks so much nicer on montego blue than the factory chrome.
Eh, I'm thinking about it. We would really like to have a 2nd car, and I'm torn between a lower overall cost used vehicle, such as a ZHP or other older, used BMW versus a low headache but higher cost new vehicle, such as a 228i.Quote:
