Spent my afternoon swapping back my stock calipers in the 15 degree weather because of my piece of crap BMW Performance calipers.
This is the 4th time I had to swap my stock calipers back due to these big useless turd buckets deciding to leak. Having to do it in the middle of this polar vortex shit is the last straw. These will be for sale for whoever has a shovel big enough to accommodate all this manure.
Back to stock. Note the piss stains of brake fluid all around the tire and wheel.

No, they're separable just like our sedans.

Got a link with info on the rotors?
Well, today I replaced the iDrive controller on the X5. The center wheel would scroll just fine, but the side to side gestures and "click" ability stopped working... Brand new one from the dealer, 5 minute swap, and DONE! So happy! :biggrin
Well mine was my fault. I lowered the car but skipped the alignment (I had one done nearly a year ago with fresh RTABS). At the time, I did not know the suspension alignment would change.. So I was running crazy toe and near -3 of camber lol. I fixed the alignment and drove with crazy camber wear. Had some fun with them thinking I will get some life out of them but then this happened. They are all seasons (Michelin Pilot Sport A/S plus old model). Good tire but can not handle any spirited driving and it made the car understeer like mad. The PSS on the back are much better. I will swap the front tires soon.
Still, I got around 20k miles on them. With a good alignment after I had lowered I reckon another 5k.
