Laying in bed trying to sleep...lightbulb goes off.
When I pulled the manifold I plugged the intake ports with a single paper towel/hole to keep the dirt and debris out. Well friends, many of you east coasters may have gotten some rain today...and the open slats in the hood are sitting right over ports 4, 5 and 6.
So its 10:30 and I'm outside trying to find a way to remove the water that has completely flooded the 5th cylinder and partially filled 4 and 6.
I can't do it tonight so I've set the microfilter housing temporarily back in place to keep the elements out as best as I can.
I'm going to vomit. Any negatives to letting rain water sit in my cylinders for a short period of time? Gotta get to it tomorrow afternoon :(
Any tips aside from pulling the spark plugs and sucking the water out? Can't crank over because the oil return lines are open. What about water passing by the piston rings? Is water fine enough to do so? :help
