Out with the old in with the new. About $60. 3 hours because I had to stop and get a pair of thin vice grips to hold the metal bit and prevent the ball joint from spinning.

Clunks in front when going onto, and driving off driveways was only temporary gone. Started again, so retightenned all to 55 ft-lbs (Bentley recommends 48 ft-lbs). Broke one Lemfoerder shaft.
Bought a replacement (from Turkey) at local autoshop for $37. Tightenned to 55 ft-lbs no problem.
Clunkyness appears mostly gone...time will tell.
Changed idler pulley and tensioner pulley, ~35 minutes and ~$65 at ECS tuning. Old ones rolled and rolled and rolled, pretty freely.
Changed spark plugs (~$45) while waiting for a water pump.

Out with the old. Could be originals at 91k miles. Looks good but what do I know?
Change water pump at 91.5 K with a Stewart pump ~$170.
Refreshed coolant ~$24.
The oem that was replaced about 3 years ago only lasted about 21K miles (that's the one dealer sells for $165). For a few dollars more the lifetime Stewart pump is a no brainer.
93620, put on winter shoes.
96xxx take off winter boots.
Tomorrow: Michelin Pilot AS3. On at 97008 miles.
Changed oil at 97,774 miles (DIYed for ~$54 oil and filter).
Love those Michelin pilot sport AS/3! Quiet, sticky, firm, excellent in heavy rain on the highway. Nothing but goodness right there.
Approximately $400 for 5th year of ownership. Add ~$800 for the Michelin and alignment. So total of $1200.
