forgot to mention, last week i installed the shark injector tune! this was the TMS-reprogrammed unit that was so hotly-debated here. :) it was a success and i finally had a chance yesterday to really shake it down on some dry roads (it's been snowing for a week straight) - the difference is subtle but nice, 4K dip seems to be gone and power delivery seems a bit more and very linear. top end is feeling much better after VANOS seals as well. had almost 6hrs in the car yesterday, it is feeling great! (especially with the M3 seats :) )
still need to find and cure the whistling.

I find it interesting that you still have that whistling issue on your ZHP Peter... I have never experienced this in my ZHP....
to be honest, i have not been able to dig into finding the cause yet - it only happens around 2K rpm so i need to get my wife in the car, in the garage, with the hood up, when it's cold, to see if i can pinpoint it. haven't been able to make all of that come together yet. :)

Its so funny I stumble across this post since I have been having the exact same whistling issue in my non-ZHP 330i in the last couple of weeks. This only started when it got really cold in Ottawa. Happens just about the 1.9K-2.2K area in the tacho. I have chalked this one up to the crazy cold.
Peter, I have a set of OEM intake boots I recently took off my ZHP sitting around. They are available if you need to swap out yours :thumbsup
They are in excellent shape with no wear on them...
