Those look fantastic
Looking good Justin.
Wow! Looks great! A+
One thing I did notice was extreme camber wear on the old tires. Going to have my Rtabs done sooner than later.

The car is looking great Justin! I'm glad you're taking care of and saving it.
All tires were inflated to 25 psi. Fixing that now. Was getting a wub wub wub noise at speed.

Car does look great. Going to keep the pinstripe?
Have too. Its painted on. When I fixed the damage on the front fender. They painted over it. We gave it a vinyl stripe overlay to keep it even.

Gents, thanks for the kind words regarding the wheels!! the fitment is effing perfect. No rubbing and everything is herra frush!
However, I just broke down and bought AKG 90A RTABs. shipping for overnight was $51.00...so I chose the $13 Ground option. Hopefully they get here at a reasonable time. Need to have an alignment done as soon as the RTABs are in.
I bumped the Tool Rental Thread, but if anyone on the East Coast has the tool, I would love to rent it from you and knock these things out.
Wheels look good Justin.
I mean this in the nicest way possible, if you plan on doing your RTABs without the RTAB tool, good fuckibg luck bro. Never doing that one again.

Thanks brah!
Yeah...not even gonna waste time on the job with out the tool. Read all about the people that wasted their time.

Definitely get the tool.
My passenger side came out no problem, but my driver side wouldn't budge even with the tool. Wound up having to destroy the bushing with an air ratchet. They can be a PITA.
I remember breaking a tool on my RTAB.. :\
Be sure to have that Air hammer ready!
90A bushings from AKG arrived today!!!

Just waiting on the MIS tool from Marcus (Imola.ZHP) who was kind enough to rent it to me. Should be here before Friday. Dats my day off :-) and my birthday....shhh.

90A is the softer one, right?

Soft to hard.
80A, 90A, 75D, Spherical, Solid Aluminium. They feel sturdy in my hand. Can't get them to flex much. But it's there. Cannot wait to have the bushings installed and the 75D engine and trans mounts to get rid of the nasty shifter movement under heavy acceleration. Hoping to tackle one of those tomorrow morning and the other on Wednesday.

I need new transmission and engine mounts so bad lol. It's horrible.

Go M3...I wouldn't go Poly again...but since they are on a car thats getting sold...I am going to pull and swap since the pair was $180...

I think so. If you have the coin the best comfort and performance is from Group-N. But the pair of mounts are $500...

Went for a Chipotle run tonight...got the goods and headed home. It's pouring rain and in the right turn lane I hit a pot hole. Ugh not my new wheels.
Thinking I'll inspect them when I get home, I travel twenty meters and *beep* EML, DSC, SES, BRAKE all light up. Car stutters and it's herky-jerky. Idle is hunting actively...that clues me into the fact something is wonky with my fuel delivery.
It's 36° and raining...I'm near an advance auto, thank goodness. Pop the hood and listen to the engine backfire and miss. Locate the F-connector on the intake and see that the vacuum hose is ripped in half. There's my problem...
There is a dojo closer than the advance. Grab some athletic tape, get it connected as best I can and limp home.

Tomorrow I get to replace the hose...still have some from my conversion on the 328i.

What caused that Justin?
Samsung Galaxy S5...
Pretty sure it's a combo hitting the pothole, having worn engine mounts and dry rotted rubber vac line.

Fixed my vacuum line and rolled 150k!!

Sorry to hear of the bad pothole and trouble Justin. Glad you got home without a complete breakdown on the ride back from Chipotle...in our awesome spring-like warm weather.
Good work. I want Chipotle now.

I had some the other day but they didn't have the steak or the corn.
Purchased my Engine Support Bar today. Got 50' free rope! Going to do a shit load of maintenance tomorrow.
Engine mounts, transmission mounts, FCABs all 75D poly from AKG. AKG 90A RTABs and fuel filter. Swapping all parts with the 328i except for the RTABs. All day to do it and its on my birthday. Couldn't be happier lol!

Happy birthday Justin
Samsung Galaxy S5...
Damn fine way to spend a birthday.
Happy birthday. I'd be perfectly content hanging in the garage working for a birthday.
Better than working the 1200 case wine truck tomorrow!!
Thanks guys!!
