Would you have felt ok about leaving the original seals in there once you got it apart? Or no?

Placed my order for fabric to redo my M3 seats... E30 M-Tech. ETA unknown.

Today I went ahead and replaced the three vacuum caps on the back of the intake manifold, I replaced he brake booster vacuum line , I finally got around to installing my m3 dead pedal, and I ordered a piece to fix my volume/power knob on my Business CD radio along with a new knob for the radio.
Oh and I also cleaned the car inside and out, looks new again:)
