Ah I assumed (incorrectly) that the ones from Bavauto were OE/OEM, not their own product.

They make aftermarket ones, which is what I was referring to. If it's labeled as Genuine BMW then they're fine, but if they're BavAuto brand then they are aftermarket ones made in China.

Cool, thanks for the info! I'll definitely keep that in mind when I have to get new coil packs.

Yea I've heard horrible things about the red performance bavAuto ones. They really should stop selling them.

Washed her after the trip back from Emerald Isle and threw the all weather bavauto car cover on, the tags are expired so she wont be driven for a while. Back in the 4Runner now after 3 weeks

Did the valve cover last week, now the CCV system this week.
