Bro, you dodged a bullet. I've had to deal with those impound animals a few times. Not pleasant. Every time my car got towed, for nonsense reasons, the tow company opened my friggin car. I had some heated discussions.
Wow. I think I would have freaked too. So they can just move your car?? That's NYC crazy.
Thumbs, iPhone, Tapatalk.
Im surprised they moved your car and just left it there instead of impounding! You got lucky though!
One of many reasons why I never park my car in large cities like NYC, Boston, Chicago, or LA...... glad to hear you got your ZHP back Tony....
Towed at 06:41... They sure started early!
iP4S + TT2
Yes I plan to be the only one in the car most of the time anyways. The ultimate cup holder would work. I still have to do a lot of research in what I plan on changing for those mods. Also thanks for the heads up on the m3 brake kit. I'll note that down as well!
They are pretty nice for a whole set of 5. :) the paint is flaking here and there so I would need to refinish them sometime.
Yeah it sure helps to have a lift as well.
Yeah it was a pretty big bullet. Still a lesson to anyone parking in NYC.
Yeah I had to talk to them twice to figure out where the car was.
I was freaking out as well since I got new rims in the car.
Yeah I was debating on moving it at 2am when I woke up from a nap. Can't believe that they towed it so early...
The lesson here is to not park in NYC. If you don't want to take public transportation, don't go to NYC, that simple! I made that mistake a few times, ending up with bent rims.
NYC is the armpit of all places with roads that they call paved. I feel everyone should sue the crap out of the city for suspension damage caused by their simple inability to fix the roads they charge us exorbitant amounts of money to cross.
This past weekend was a lot of maintenance done. Tierods on Saturday. BMW Performance Short Shifter, transmission & differential fluids changed. Getting ready for winter soon and the style 68's going on once I find one more 7" rim.
What do you guys think about mudflaps? I'm considering putting them on due to the dirt and everything I drive through all the time out in these neck of the woods.
Also I have planned to finish out a few more retrofits :)
