This area isn't exactly what I would call "friendly" for insurance.

weird. that's how it is in ontario, in VT it was the opposite for me. i was with progressive for 10 years, they were excellent.

weird. totally not my experience in the US (VT). rates were cheap, service was awesome, no penalties from speeding tickets (i had one on my record at that time), or claims (3 no-fault claims, all over $500).

also, in the US, or at least, VT - stuff stays on your record for 3 years. in ontario, even if it's off your driving record, the insurance company keeps 10 YEARS of history and your rates are based off of that. you wanna talk about financial rape? buy car insurance here... i paid astronomical rates here for 6 years for a claim i had IN THE US in 2005!!!

What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

Gutted and cleaned out my trunk basement in all three sections!

Took out the battery to get to that side. There was a lot of crap down below! The battery brace is rusting down below around the bolts holding it in place. Could that move to the chassis?

took my fitted car cover to get repaired. accidentally tore a small L shape in it so i dropped it off with an old oriental woman that runs an alteration business and she's going to double stitch a patch from the inside to remedy my blunder.

trickle charger is arriving today so storage is imminent

recharged the 4runners A/C and vacuumed it out.
