weird. that's how it is in ontario, in VT it was the opposite for me. i was with progressive for 10 years, they were excellent.
weird. totally not my experience in the US (VT). rates were cheap, service was awesome, no penalties from speeding tickets (i had one on my record at that time), or claims (3 no-fault claims, all over $500).
also, in the US, or at least, VT - stuff stays on your record for 3 years. in ontario, even if it's off your driving record, the insurance company keeps 10 YEARS of history and your rates are based off of that. you wanna talk about financial rape? buy car insurance here... i paid astronomical rates here for 6 years for a claim i had IN THE US in 2005!!!
