Accomplished a few tasks on red 02 this AM. Finally installed drivers door window. All windows in the car.
Re-upholstered one of the sections on the drivers seat that was destroyed. Installed new straps on bottom cushion and installed a bunch of new hog rings. Installed brackets and sliders, installed them in car, cleaned and conditioned the seats.
Started cleaning M3 upper oil pan in preparation for modifying it to fit the Massive lower oil pan conversion for S14 in a 2002.
Made a new metal faceplate for the center console that will house the headunit and three gauges. Same setup I had before - except I made that one from wood and it wasn't holding up very well.
I worked in yard the on Saturday and completely prepped it for winter. Leaves gone. Summer plants thinned out. Etc. while Laura and the kids went out with a friend
I steal time from my sleep to work on basement. 4 pieces of trim left to do. One light switch left to swap wires on. And one hole to patch (an old outlet that is redundant).
I hadn't worked on car much lately. I have done a few small things in the black 02. Swapped seats. Installed new carpets and adjusted doors (to close better/easier). But not much else. Haven't touched wagon in forever. And felt lucky to vacuum out the X5.
So yea, I hear ya on lack of time.
December 28th, Laura returns to work. Progress on red car will likely grind to a halt.
Yea sleep deprivation is the only way...
I had to dig up and repair my sewer line over the holiday and had to hire a babysitter to watch the kids because Kristen was at work... Can't justify that for working on the cars ;)
